Cinnamon Rolls of the World ("the app") is a personal journal and social discovery platform for cinnamon roll enthusiasts. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used.
If you attach a photo to a roll entry, it is uploaded to secure cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage) and served via our API. Photos marked as public are visible to other users in the community feed. You can delete a roll (including its photo) at any time from within the app.
When you log a roll, the city and country you enter are sent to Nominatim (an open-source geocoding service) to look up geographic coordinates for the map view. No precise GPS location is ever collected. Nominatim's own privacy policy applies to those requests.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating the app.
Your roll data is retained as long as you use the app. You can delete all your data at any time via Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Clear All Data. This permanently removes your rolls, profile, and device ID from our servers.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
